In 2005 the Pulitzer Prize winning playwright Arthur Miller died.

On this day in history 1763 the Treaty of Paris was signed thus ending the French and Indian War.

Queen Victoria married Prince Albert in 1840.

Glenn Miller received the first ever gold record for selling a million copies of “Chattanooga Choo Choo.” in the year 1942.

The 25th Amendment was ratified, establishing presidential succession on this day in history 1967.
