PS3 Clearly loses; Wii’s novelty will wear out

One of my friends has a ps3.  What does everyone else play?  Well, one person has a wii.  The other 15 have xbox 360s.  Why, you might ask?  Because the xbox 360, despite its original design flaws, provides the best gaming experience.

Let’s face it.  The PS3 has been making some poor choices.  Home for PS3 has been delayed numerous times.  There’s been firmware issues breaking some machines.  And there are no exclusives that I would purchase a PS3 for.  Had GTA 4 exclusively been a PS3 title, I would have purchased it.  But, you snooze, you lose.

The wii is a great system.  A great system of novelty.  Don’t get me wrong.  I love playing Tiger Woods with friends.  It’s fun to pretend you are doing things.  But the system can’t even do HD resolutions. The market will become saturated with the Wii in the near future.

The XBox 360 provides the best experience.  I love achievements.  I don’t mind paying for Xbox live.  The games are phenomenal.  I am hoping Microsoft can continue this superiority in it’s next system.
